The Zoo!

Jordan and her best friend, Kail (Heather and Jeff's youngest) at the zoo.  Kail was born 9 days before Jordan, and they get to hang out a lot because I just love hanging out with Kail's mom!
Jordan laughed and giggled the whole time she was petting the sheep!

Just look at the excitement on her face as she watches the penguins (or maybe she's just entertained by her reflection on the glass!)

Trips to the zoo hold a special place in my heart.  I just love the zoo, and watching Jordan enjoy it even more than I do gives me so much joy.  She LOVES watching the animals, and petting the sheep in the petting zoo.  The last time we went, she got to feed the Giraffe!

Baby Dedication

David and Matt are always "fighting" over Jordan.  I love that there are great men in her life, besides her Daddy, that she will be able to model her future husband after (if God calls her to marry).  Thanks, Matt and David, for loving our precious little girl!
Mammaw and Jordan.  Justin's mom blesses us by coming over every Wednesday night to watch Jordan while we are at our small groups.  Mary really knows how to make Jordan laugh and have lots of fun.
Grandma Neill and Jordan.  Mom and Dad come to Wichita often to spend time with their grandkids.  They came down especially for Jordan's baby dedication, which I am so thankful for.  I can't wait for Jordan to go visit Grandma and Grandpa's farm, where she can see all the animals!

Here are some pictures from the baby dedication.  We are so blessed to have a family and a church family that loves our daughter and is dedicated in showing her God's love as she grows.  We know that Jordan is ultimately God's child, so we dedicate her life to Him.  Our prayer is that she will come to know the true Savior, Jesus Christ, and that she will live to love and serve Him.  We pray that she will invest her life in others, always putting the Glory of God above all else.

Update

We moved Jordan back to Southeast's day care this week.  There was a spot open, so we took it.  It seemed to be a good time for a transition because the teacher at East left to start her own day care.  Now Jordan gets to be at work with me again.  They already brought her by my room the other day while they were on a stroller walk through the school.  I love her being so close!

Oh my!

Jordan is learning to move around.  She is "crawling" all over!  She pulls herself along with her hands and kicks her feet behind her.  It kind of looks like she's swimming.  Anyway, she found the shelf with DVD's and VHS tapes on it.  She scrambled over to it and started pulling them off with such glee!  Doesn't she look so proud?  Her first real mess!  Too bad she doesn't know how to clean up.

Big Studs!

Justin and our friend Will Harrington installing the shelves they made this summer/fall (I can't really remember!) in our dining room.  They are beautiful!   A big thanks to Alisha (Will's wife) for giving up time with Will when he was working on our shelves (soon after they just had twin girls!)

6th Month Appointment 3-6-08

Justin took Jordan to the doctor today for her 6th month appointment.   She's average in height and weight, but she must have the Neill-size head--she's in the 90th or 95th percentile for head circumference!  (Justin said 9oth, but when I checked the chart, it looks like the 95th...so I'm not sure which one is right)

peak-a-boo

Jordan loves playing peak-a-boo.  Really, it's called "Where's Jordan?...There she is!" and we use a blanket to cover her up.  She was just having a blast!

Jordan has such big eyes, and the picture with Daddy kissing her shows just how big they can be.  The other picture is of Jordan with spiked up hair--Daddy thought it would be fun to put gel in it.  These pictures aren't new, but the bug-eyed one is my all-time favorite!

Jordan's Jumper

Jordan is learning to jump in her jumper Grandma Neill got her for Christmas.  It's not showing the greatest.  She really is jumping and having fun.  I don't know why it seems to be playing in frames.
